TLDR: HERO-CON is a super kid-friendly event where the organisers prioritise your children’s safety as of the utmost importance.

First and Foremost: What Kids Will Love at HERO-CON
There are just so many things that your kids will enjoy, and in each year of HERO-CON, there is a new theme to keep the superhero scene in Malaysia fresh!
The activities we have ready are all child-friendly. For example, we have stamp collections in a quest format where you and your kids can participate in superhero-themed activities for a lucky draw. Of course, happy smiles are priceless.
What we want to achieve in this “Quest” is to turn HERO-CON into a journey where your superhero kids can experience what it is like to don a cape and put on a mask to save the day!
Of course, this goes without saying that all of our activities are tested to be child-safe, and we (including trained professionals) are always around the corner to offer help!

1. A-Frame Cargo Net Crawling

Be the master of spider webs. Don’t worry, there won’t be anything sticky and dirty that may latch onto your kid’s outfit.
This is an extremely safe game where your children play as Spider-Man by climbing the cargo net with their friends!
2. Human Claw Machine

Now that you and your kids have mastered the art of web-slinging, it’s time to put those skills into practice by letting them grab some goodies while being suspended in the air!
Inspired by the claw machine, your kid will now act as the claw, going up and down! And before you ask, yep – it is perfectly safe!
3. PlayStation Zone

This is an area where you and your kids take a break from all the physical activities at HERO-CON. These PlayStation booths are equipped with PlayStation 5 consoles where you can play video games and let loose!
In case you are wondering, the photo is showing PS4. Yup, it’s been a while since our last event.
4. Meet & Greet, Cosplay and Photo Corners

It’s like you’re entering a Multiverse of Superheroes + Spiderverses.
Already confirmed joining are: The OFFICIAL Spider-Man, BoBoiBoy, Papa Zola, Ejen Ali, Ejen Alicia, Robozeta. There will be so many more Spider-Man and superheroes, with some of them having creative touches of their own. We highly recommend you and your kids dress up for the occasion as well!
HERO-CON 2026 will also have photo areas where you can pose and take memorable photos. Plus, we suggest snapping some photos with other Spidey cosplayers and superheroes that you love. Share and tag them on social media. It totally enhances the superhero experience, and you might actually make some new friends as well!
5. Kids Craft Corner

Time to let your kids’ creative spark go wild! This area will host arts and crafts activities where your superhero kids can design and craft their own superhero designs to bring back home.
Kid Safety Measures at HERO-CON
With every HERO-CON, we expect, and you should also expect, a huge crowd. Therefore, parents and/or guardians should take some extra steps and precautions to ensure their child’s safety. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!
Here are some recommendations to keep your child safe at all times:
Have a Phone Number on Your Kid
If your kids are not old enough to own a mobile phone, make sure they are holding a card or wearing a wristband that has your contact info (somewhere that only your kid knows).
On the off chance that you lose your kid, this would make it easy for TGV staff or security to contact you if they find your kid.
Set The Meeting Point at TGV Cinemas F&B Counter
Before joining HERO-CON and its activities, you MUST first teach and instruct your child to recognise where TGV Cinemas is.
TGV is THE Meeting Point if you get separated. It will be the place you first register anyway; also, there’s big TGV Signage, popcorn-smelling counter, and big LED pillars around.
Secondly, you can teach your child to approach any TGV staff for assistance. We would be more than happy to help out, as your kids’ safety is their utmost priority.

Have a Photo of Your Kid at Hand
This advice is for kids who are cosplaying. Assuming they are following HERO-CON’s theme, they are most likely dressed up pretty similarly to other superhero kids, so locating them can be quite tricky.
Please have your kid to wear something unique – a pink scarf, a special wristband or belt (that is easily identifiable).
Also, do snap a picture of your child in costume beforehand – this will allow us and you to have a visual reference to help spot your kid amongst the crowd.
Please Don’t Be Shy to Ask for Help
If you need help, whatever it is during an emergency, please Please PLEASE approach TGV staff or relevant on-site authorities there immediately. Our team is trained in basic safety and first aid and can assist with emergency contacts, wheelchair services and the nearest exit routes.
Read the Event Safety Notices, Rules and Clothing Guidelines
Every event is different – especially the main activities and games. Please spend time reading and understanding the IMPORTANT EVENT & SAFETY NOTICE before participating. I know it is boring, but let’s take safety as a priority.
A copy will be provided to you when you register and can be found on the event page FAQ section. If you can’t find it, please again ask our team to help. Promise, they won’t bite 😉
