What the Producers Are Saying

Producer Graham King spoke to ScreenRant about the potential for a sequel, revealing that he has been thinking about future possibilities. “No, I’ve definitely been thinking about some things. We’ll see. We’ll see what happens,” he said, keeping his cards close to his chest.

Meanwhile, star Jaafar Jackson, who portrays Michael Jackson, didn’t hesitate when asked about returning to the role, replying enthusiastically, “I absolutely do.”

The Jackson Family Weighs In

La Toya Jackson took a more cautious approach when discussing the potential sequel during her interview with Variety. “I am not sure if there’s gonna be a sequel. That’s up to the producers. I hear there might be but we don’t know.

So, no, I haven’t been contacted yet,” she explained. La Toya also confirmed that her sister Janet Jackson had been approached for the film but ultimately chose not to participate.
