Matt Damon’s impressive physique in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey has become a hot topic among fans, but the actor says he doesn’t deserve all the credit.

Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Damon revealed that a female stunt performer, Devyn Dalton, played an important role in bringing several scenes to life.

For scenes involving the towering Laestrygonians, the production used forced perspective to make the giants appear much larger than Odysseus. To achieve the effect, Damon was doubled by a stunt performer who stood under five feet tall.

Damon praised his stunt double, describing her as having “the greatest arms” he had ever seen.

He recalled meeting Dalton in the catering tent, giving her a hug, and thanking her for the hard work and dedication she brought to the production.

While Damon joked that most of the muscular arms seen on screen were his own, he emphasized that the stunt performer deserved recognition for her contribution to the film.
