TLDR: As Tom Holland will be featuring in both of The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, he has asked Sony to delay Spider-Man.

The Schedule Conflict for Both Movies
Tom Holland is set to headline two of the biggest films of the summer: Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
However, balancing both projects required a difficult conversation with Sony Pictures CEO Tom Rothman.
According to Holland, the filming schedules for the two productions overlapped, forcing him to choose how to manage his commitments.
He revealed that he spoke with Nolan about the situation and realized he would need to ask Sony to delay production on the next Spider-Man film in order to take part in The Odyssey.
Sony has Agreed to The Delay of Spider-Man
Sony ultimately agreed to adjust Spider-Man’s production schedule, partly because of Christopher Nolan’s reputation for completing films on time and on budget.
Holland explained that the studio had confidence in Nolan’s ability to stick to the planned schedule without causing major delays.
That confidence proved well placed, as The Odyssey reportedly wrapped filming nine days ahead of schedule, reinforcing Nolan’s reputation for efficient filmmaking.
When are The Odyssey and The Spider-Man: Brand New Day Coming to TGV Cinemas?
