Centineo promised that longtime fans will find hundreds of Easter eggs, memorable one-liners, and signature moves throughout the film. Director Kitao Sakurai and the cast reportedly spent significant time researching the franchise to make sure these references felt authentic.

After attending a private screening, the guard enthusiastically approached the actor and praised the movie, reinforcing Centineo’s belief that the film was made first and foremost for fans of the franchise.
