The Batman: Part II Adds Star-Studded Cast

TLDR: Director Matt Reeves has confirmed that Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan are officially joining The Batman: Part II.

Scarlett Johansson Heads to Gotham in Unknown Role

Reeves welcomed Johansson to the sequel with a post referencing her 2013 film Under the Skin, writing, “Next exit, Gotham… Welcome.”

However, details about her role have not yet been revealed. Earlier reports suggested that the Black Widow star had been in final negotiations to join the project.

Sebastian Stan as Harvey Dent

Sebastian Stan was also confirmed by Reeves with the message, “In a Gotham state of mind… Welcome.”

The actor is expected to play Harvey Dent in the sequel. Charles Dance, known for Game of Thrones, is reportedly set to portray Harvey Dent’s father.

Reeves also teased two additional surprise castings, though their roles have not yet been revealed. This suggests that more major announcements could be coming as production continues.
